Fluid Dispensing System for Reagent Delivery

Tech ID: 20B138

Competitive Advantages

  • A fluid dispensing system will be less time consuming and cost effective.
  • Decreases manual labor and need for trained specialists and administers precise results.
  • A portable ELISA will help provide better monitoring of diseases.

Summary

Many biomedical tests (e.g. ELISA enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) require use of different reagents. The reagents have to be pipetted into individual wells by different individual apparatus. This system is a convenient way of handling fluids. It uses pre-packaged reagents in special mini-containers or cartridges that could be used to simultaneously deliver pre-measured reagents to all wells. The fluid dispensing system accurately measures the concentration of antibodies in the blood of one or more individuals eliminating the need for time-consuming manual pipetting, reagent preparation and measurements, and trained specialists.
