Wide Operating Level-Shifter for Memory and Standalone Operation

Tech ID: 14A065

Competitive Advantages

  •     Consumes less power
  •     Reduces static currents
  •     Occupies smaller area
  •     Operates over wide range

Summary

Our researchers at USF have developed methods to design a wide operating range level shifter which consumes less power and reduces the amount of static current in the device. This circuit has applications in the design of DRAM, which is the basic block of any memory device. It also finds uses in SD cards, SIM cards and in audio coders and decoders.
