The Tribalism Index for Quantifying Violence

Summary

USF inventors have developed The Tribalism Index to predict instability in any prescribed region based on five components. A summation or cumulative addition of data obtained from these indices de-fine the Tribalism Index and a final value that could range between 0 and 1, with 1 indicating the highest degree of tribalism, and therefore higher likelihood of instability in the region in question.

 
This index has advantage in its ability to provide quick, ready-to-use actionable information to government agencies and business groups. Through objective study of unique cultural specifications, this method provides a deeper understanding of issues of violence in remote and indigenous global locations.

The index shows a normal distribution, with  a mean score of 0.5, a median of 0.4875, and a standard deviation of 0.22. indicated
